Privacy, dignity, and care.
The Prayer Project handles prayer requests with the understanding that people may share sensitive burdens.
Information collected
- Prayer request title, category, message, urgency, and prayer count
- Email address for prayer notifications
- Report reasons submitted by visitors
- Administrative settings such as daily verse and announcements
Email use
Email addresses are collected only so the system can notify someone when their request has been prayed for. Emails are not intentionally displayed on the public website.
Current technical note: email addresses are stored in Firestore with the prayer request so the email service can send notifications. The public page does not render the email address.
Reports and moderation
Prayer requests are posted immediately. If someone reports a request, it is hidden from the public wall and moved to the admin dashboard for review.
Safety notice
The Prayer Project is not an emergency service, counseling service, crisis intervention provider, or substitute for professional help. If you are in immediate danger, contact emergency services or a crisis hotline.
Data removal
Administrators may remove inappropriate, harmful, spam, or reported content.
