Creation
God creates the heavens, the earth, and all life. Humanity is made in the image of God, created to know Him, reflect Him, and care for His creation.
Genesis 1:1-31; Genesis 2:7; Psalm 24:1; John 1:1-3
The Bible is not just a collection of disconnected religious writings. It tells one great story: God creates, humanity falls, God promises redemption, Jesus comes, the church is sent, and God will make all things new.
God created the world good, humanity sinned and broke fellowship with Him, but God promised and provided salvation through Jesus Christ, who died and rose again so that sinners may be forgiven, made new, and brought into eternal life with God.
Genesis 1:1, Genesis 3:15, John 3:16, Romans 5:8, 1 Corinthians 15:3-4, Revelation 21:5
God creates the heavens, the earth, and all life. Humanity is made in the image of God, created to know Him, reflect Him, and care for His creation.
Genesis 1:1-31; Genesis 2:7; Psalm 24:1; John 1:1-3
Adam and Eve rebel against God, sin enters the world, and everything becomes broken: our relationship with God, with one another, with creation, and even within ourselves.
Genesis 3:1-24; Romans 3:23; Romans 5:12
Even after sin, God promises that evil will not have the final word. He begins a plan of redemption and promises that blessing will come through Abraham’s family.
Genesis 3:15; Genesis 12:1-3; Genesis 15:6; Galatians 3:8
