Why this exists
Some burdens are easy to say out loud. Others are not.
The Prayer Project exists for the moment when someone wonders whether anybody would care enough to stop, listen, and pray. We want the answer to be yes — and when care needs hands and feet, we want prayer to lead naturally toward service.

Preparing for 2027
Bibles Within Reach
A six-month fundraising and distribution initiative being prepared by The Prayer Project to purchase Bibles and provide them free of charge to people experiencing homelessness, financial hardship, or other barriers to obtaining Scripture.

The experience is designed around dignity, restraint, and clear boundaries so people can ask for prayer without the site turning vulnerable moments into engagement content.

The form does not ask for a public name, and the private notification email is not rendered on prayer cards.

Prayer counts are encouragement, not a leaderboard.
Requests are not ranked by popularity or promoted because they receive more prayer clicks.

Reports can remove a request from the wall for review.
Visitors can flag harmful, inappropriate, or privacy-sensitive content for moderation.

Faith does not replace crisis care.
The Project keeps crisis resources visible and encourages immediate professional or emergency help when safety is at risk.
